World Muaythai Council
The World Muaythai Council (WMC) is one of the oldest and the largest professional sanctioning organizations of Muaythai in the world for the sport. The organization was set up in 1995 by parliament resolution, and is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The council has been charged with the responsibility for the expansion of Muaythai worldwide. This involves supporting youth interest and athletes to learn the skills of Muaythai. History Set up by parliament resolution, the WMC is incorporated by the Royal Thai Government and sanctioned by the Sports Authority of Thailand, working together with the highest sport authorities of all member countries around the world to regulate all aspects of the art and sport of Muaythai. Johnathan Haggerty (born February 5, 1988) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was previously a member of the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears. Thanonchai Thanakorngym (ธนญชัย ธนกรยิมส์) is a retired Thai Muay Thai fighter. Biography Thanonchai started training in Muay Thai with his father at 12 years old. He then went to train with the legend Sangtiennoi Sor Rungroj at his gym and fought under the name Thanonchai Tor.Sangtiennoi. Nuenglanlek ( th, หนึ่งล้านเล็ก) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter. He is a former Lumpinee Stadium 130 lbs champion, and the 2019 Lumpinee Stadium Fighter of the Year.
