Working Girl (album)
''Working Girl'' is the third studio album by English singer and songwriter Little Boots, released on 10 July 2015 by on Repeat Records and Dim Mak Records. Promotion and release On 5 November 2014, Little Boots released the single "Taste It", taken from her EP ''Business Pleasure'', which was released in December 2014. On 5 May 2015, Little Boots released "Better in the Morning," and announced the following day that her new album would be titled "Working Girl" and would come out on 10 July 2015. The upcoming album's track list also accompanied the announcement. Tour In July 2015, Little Boots embarked on an eight-date tour to promote the album. Little Boots
Victoria Christina Hesketh (born 4 May 1984), better known by her stage name Little Boots, is an English electropop singer-songwriter and DJ. She was previously a member of the band Dead Disco. Since performing as a solo artist she has released three albums, ''Hands'' (2009), ''Nocturnes'' (2013) and ''Working Girl'' (2015) and a number of associated EPs and remixes. Hesketh has toured internationally both as a DJ-only act as well as with a full band. ''Hands'' reached number five on the UK Albums Chart and the singles "New in Town" and " Remedy" became top twenty hits. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. U Street Music Hall was a dance club and live music venue founded in 2010 and located in the U Street Corridor of Washington, D.C.. Artists and DJs booked at U Street Music Hall spanned the spectrum of electronic music, including house, disco, techno, bass and electro. It is often referred to as "U Hall".
