Working Class Party
The Working Class Party (WCP) is a left-wing, political party, based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. The Working Class Party competed in the 2016 Michigan election, presenting three candidates. The party filed twelve candidates in the 2020 election, five for the U.S. Congress, two for the Michigan State Board of Education, and five for the Michigan House of Representatives. As of November 2022, the party has ballot access in Illinois, Maryland and Michigan. Other candidates who shared many of the same ideas as the Working Class Party appeared as "non-partisan" (independent) candidates on the ballot in Chicago in 2015; in Baltimore in 2016 and 2020; and in Los Angeles in 2018. An alderman is a member of a Municipal government, municipal assembly or council in many Jurisdiction, jurisdictions founded upon English law. 2018 Michigan Elections
The Michigan general election, 2018 was held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 throughout Michigan. The Democrats swept all of the statewide offices formerly held by the Republicans. Federal Congress Senate Incumbent Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow won re-election to a fourth term. House of Representatives Democrats gained two House seats in the United States House of Representatives giving Michigan's House delegation an even split with seven Democrats and seven Republicans. Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) is a public community college district with its headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. It was founded in 1967 and has six campuses: Eastern, Downtown, Downriver, Northwest, Western, and University Square. Dearborn School District
The Dearborn Public Schools is a school district that includes the entire city of Dearborn, Michigan and a small portion of Dearborn Heights, both in Greater Detroit. Dearborn Public Schools is the third largest school district in Michigan, serving 20,000 students. The district had a $233 million budget for 2021.
