This is the discography of the Irish alternative rock singer-songwriter, Gemma Hayes. Since first becoming musically active in 2001, Hayes has released four studio albums. Gemma Hayes
Gemma Hayes (born 11 August 1977) is an Irish musician, singer-songwriter and composer. Primarily known as a vocalist and guitarist, she is also proficient with a wide range of instruments, including the piano and the harmonica. She is also a member of The Cake Sale and Printer Clips. Early life Hayes grew up in Ballyporeen, Tipperary with her parents and seven other siblings. She was surrounded by music from an early age heavily influenced by her siblings and her father who was a keyboardist in a local band. Hayes would later move to County Limerick to attend boarding school. By this time, Hayes was proficient at piano and found that the music used to counter the boredom of living in a small village. She would later move to Dublin City to attend UCD to study sociology, psychology and history. Out Of Our Hands
"Out of Our Hands" is a song written by Irish singer-songwriter Gemma Hayes for her third album ''The Hollow of Morning''. It was released digitally on 2 May 2008 as the album's first single. The single went to #6 in the official Top 40 Irish Singles chart. Music video No music video was shot for 'Out of Our Hands', despite being the album's lead single. However, the second single released from the album, Home, did receive video treatment. Roddy Hart
Roderick John Hart (born 16 July 1979) is a Scottish singer–songwriter, film/TV and theatre composer, and broadcaster from Glasgow. As a solo artist, he has released three records – ''Bookmarks'', ''Sign Language'' and ''Road of Bones'' – and one EP, ''The Dylan EP'' (with Irish artist Gemma Hayes). Hart now releases albums with his band the Lonesome Fire, the first of which was the self-titled ''Roddy Hart & the Lonesome Fire'' produced by Danton Supple. Released in late 2013, the album was nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year Award in April 2014. Mundy
Edmond Enright (born 19 May 1975), known professionally as Mundy, is an Irish singer-songwriter and founder of the independent record label Camcor Records. Biography He released his debut album ''Jelly Legs'' in 1996 on the Epic Records label. The album included the song "To You I Bestow", which was featured on the best-selling soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann's film adaptation ''Romeo + Juliet''. In 2000, Mundy was dropped by Epic while working on his second album, ''The Moon is a Bullethole'', which was about to be recorded. Although a four-track EP of that title was released, much of the material for the cancelled album was eventually incorporated into ''24 Star Hotel'', Mundy's 2002 album. ''24 Star Hotel'' was released on Camcor Records, a label Mundy himself set up, primarily funded by his royalties from the ''Romeo and Juliet'' soundtrack. The Cake Sale
The Cake Sale are a collective of mostly Republic of Ireland, Irish musical artists including Swedish singer/songwriter Nina Persson of The Cardigans and Australian musician Nick Seymour of Crowded House. The collective was formed by Brian Crosby (composer), Brian Crosby formerly of Bell X1 (band), Bell X1. They came together in 2006 to release a self-titled album called ''The Cake Sale (album), The Cake Sale''. The album was produced to raise money for the charity Oxfam, Oxfam Ireland and the Ireland Make Trade Fair campaign. It was released on 3 November 2006 in Ireland. Glen Hansard
Glen Hansard (born 21 April 1970) is an Irish singer-songwriter, musician and actor. Since 1990, he has been the frontman of the Irish rock band The Frames, with whom he has released six studio albums, four of which have charted in the top ten of the Irish Album Charts. Magnet (musician)
Magnet is the pseudonym of Norwegian singer-songwriter Even Johansen (born 7 June 1970). To date, he has released five full-length studio albums as well as several singles and EPs. Johansen draws upon many influences, including folk, pop, and electronica. His albums are composed and produced solely by him, and he usually performs live sets on his own, using preset loops or creating them as he plays. "Making My Way" is a song written by Irish singer-songwriter Gemma Hayes, and is the second single release in Ireland from her fifth studio album, '' Bones+Longing''.
