''Wordshaker'' is the second studio album by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays, released on 12 October 2009 through Fascination Records. It is the group's first album to feature a song where they are credited as writers. Upon release the album peaked at number nine on the UK Albums Chart, but the following week fell out of the top 30. In August 2010, the album was removed from digital music platforms, due to their EP "'' Headlines!",'' being released featuring some of the same material. In August 2018, the album returned to digital music platforms following a request to the label by the Pop Music Activism Twitter account. The album was preceded by the lead single "Forever Is Over", written by James Bourne and produced by The Runaways. The song peaked at number two in the UK Singles Chart. The Saturdays
The Saturdays were a British-Irish girl group based in London, England. The group formed during the summer of 2007 and have been on hiatus since 2014. The lineup consists of Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Rochelle Humes, Mollie King, and Vanessa White. They were formed through Fascination Records, a sub-division of Polydor Records, who gave them an instant record deal with the label. As soon as the contract was finalised, the Saturdays went on tour with Girls Aloud during their Tangled Up Tour. The group's music style is pop, but throughout their career, their management has experimented with dance-pop and electropop. "Forever Is Over" is a song by English-Irish girl group The Saturdays, from their second studio album, ''Wordshaker''. The song was released by digital download on 5 October 2009 as the lead single from the album. The Work Tour
The Work Tour was the debut headlining theatre tour by English-Irish girl group The Saturdays. The tour became the group's first headlining tour, but second time touring (after touring with Girls Aloud in 2008 as a support act for their Tangled Up Tour). The tour opened on 2 June 2009, and lasted for 24 shows, finishing on 7 July 2009. The tour featured all of their songs from their debut album (apart from "Vulnerable"), a medley of covers, and two new songs that would feature on their then untitled, and up-coming second studio album ''Wordshaker''. ''Headlines!'' is the debut EP by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays. It was released in Ireland on 13 August 2010 and in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2010 by Fascination Records. The EP includes the previously released singles "Forever Is Over" and " Ego" as well as a remix of album track "One Shot" from their previous album ''Wordshaker'' (2009) and five new songs. The album was preceded by the release of the lead single " Missing You" on 5 August 2010. It became the group's seventh top-ten hit when it peaked at number three in the UK and number six in Ireland. First signed as a solo artist by David A. Steve McCutcheon (born 15 January 1972), known professionally as Steve Mac, is a British record producer, songwriter and musician. A multi-award-winning producer, he is one of the most prolific songwriters and record producers in modern British music, with contributions to 30 number one singles in the UK Singles Chart. Samuel Joshua Watters (born July 23, 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and record executive. ''Chasing Lights'' is the debut album by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays. It was released in the United Kingdom through Fascination Records on 27 October 2008. The album was re-issued on 16 March 2009 to include their cover of Depeche Mode's 1981 song " Just Can't Get Enough". Production The Saturdays started production of their debut album in May 2008. They were offered the chance to record songs that were rejected by Girls Aloud, with whom they shared a record label. Their music is often compared to that of Girls Aloud and Sugababes. ''On Your Radar'' is the third studio album by British-Irish girl group The Saturdays. It was released 21 November 2011 under Fascination Records. The album was recorded in London, New York City, Oslo and Stockholm, with Steve Mac, who had been instrumental in the production of the band's previous albums, served as a producer on the album, with additional producers and songwriters also being included in the making of the record, including Lucas Secon, Taio Cruz, Labrinth, Tracklacers, Space Cowboy, Brian Higgins and Lucie Silvas. The Runaways
The Runaways were an all-female American rock band who recorded and performed from 1975 to 1979. The band released four studio albums and one live album during its run.
