Harry Bruce Woolfe
Harry Bruce Woolfe (1880, Marylebone, London – 1965, Brighton) was an English film producer and occasional director who founded British Instructional Films. The company focused on documentaries, nature films, and works concerning World War I. He was himself a veteran so had an interest in using film to re-enact the war. This links to his being referred to as an "ardent imperialist" who intended to tell heroic stories of said war. In addition to work on war films he initiated the ''Secrets of Nature'' series. John Woolfe
John Woolfe (23 March 1932 – 14 June 1969) was a British racing driver from England, who specialised in sports car racing. He was killed as a result of crashing on the first lap of the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans race, an event which caused the traditional " Le Mans start" to be abolished the following year. Career Woolfe was born in London. He was a gentleman driver, and had several years' experience of racing sports cars. He formed his own team, John Woolfe Racing, with his business partner, Arnold Burton, and in 1968 he bought a Chevron B12, specially adapted to be fitted with a Repco V8 engine, similar to the unit which had won the Formula One World Championships in and . Woolfe was successful in domestic racing, and also entered several international races. Kevin Woolfe (1930-2002) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s. He was a triple premiership winner with South Sydney Rabbitohs. Kevin Woolfe was a Souths junior from Mascot, New South Wales, and went on to play five seasons with South Sydney Rabbitohs between 1950-1955. He won three premierships with Souths during his time there; 1950, 1951 and 1953. Nathan Brett Woolfe (born 6 October 1988) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for Cymru North club Airbus UK Broughton. Steven Marcus Woolfe (born 6 October 1967) is a British politician who was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for North West England from 2014 until 2019. Woolfe was born in Moss Side in Manchester and studied law at Aberystwyth University, after which he worked as a barrister and a general counsel.
