Grant Woodhams
Grant Allen Woodhams (born 7 August 1952 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former politician. He was The Nationals member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly from February 2005 to March 2013. Arriving in Western Australia in 1967, Woodhams was schooled in Perth and Albany he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Murdoch University before starting work with ABC radio. After working with the ABC in Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, Woodhams returned to Western Australia in 1990 to work in the Mid West. He left the ABC in 2004 to pursue his master's degree in Education. At the 2005 state election, Woodhams defeated one-term Liberal MP Jamie Edwards to take the seat of Greenough for the Nationals. He was re-elected at the 2008 state election, again defeating an incumbent Liberal MP, Gary Snook, this time for the seat of Moore, following Greenough's abolition. Stephen Woodhams
Stephen Woodhams (born ''c.'' 1964) was one of the youngest gardeners ever to win a Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show in 1994 for ''Mr. Maidment's Garden''. He was also awarded Silver Medals in 1996, 1997 and 2000. In 2002, his ''Sanctuary'' garden, sponsored by Merrill Lynch, won him his second Gold Medal. At the age of sixteen, Woodhams achieved a place at the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society's Garden at Wisley from where he graduated with honours. He went on to become buyer consultant at the London florists, Moyses Stevens, and in 1986 won a youth enterprise grant of £40 a week with which he set up his own business in his garden shed at the age of 22. In 1992 he opened his first shop in Ledbury Road, London W1, and quickly established an enviable portfolio of clients including Max Mara, Joseph, Michel Roux, and the Hempel. Edwin Woodhams
Edwin Fehrsen Woodhams (22 February 1880 – 8 February 1933) was an English cricketer. Woodham's batting and bowling styles are unknown. He was born at Seaford, Sussex. Woodhams made a single first-class appearance for Sussex against Somerset at County Ground, Hove in the 1905 County Championship. He was dismissed for a duck in Sussex's first-innings by Len Braund, while in their second-innings he ended unbeaten on 14 to guide Sussex to a 2 wicket win. This was his only major appearance for Sussex. He died at Withdean, Sussex on 8 February 1933. Richard Woodhams
Richard Woodhams ''(né'' Richard Clarence Woodhams; born June 17, 1949 in Palo Alto, California) is an American oboist and recording artist. He was Principal Oboe of the Philadelphia Orchestra from 1977 until his retirement in August 2018. He also served as Professor of Oboe at the Curtis Institute of Music from 1985 until his dismissal in 2021. At the age of fifteen, Woodhams was accepted by the Curtis Institute and began study with John de Lancie, graduating in 1968. In 1969, he won the position of Principal Oboe with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra under Music Director Walter Susskind. He assumed the position of principal oboe of the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1977, succeeding his teacher. He succeeded de Lancie as oboe instructor at the Curtis Institute in 1985. He is faculty member at the Aspen Music Festival and has taught at the Luzerne and Sarasota Music Festivals, among others.
