Woodham High School
Woodham High School was a secondary school located in Pensacola, Florida. The high school was closed after nearly 42 years of operation in May 2007. It is now known as Woodham Middle School. Woodham Middle School is now closed and West Florida High School of Advanced Technology and its faculty, staff, and students have transferred over from Longleaf Drive to the old school grounds of Woodham Middle School and is now located there. The school is named for Dr. William Jesse Woodham, Jr., a former Escambia County School District superintendent. Woodham High School was the only high school in Escambia County to have a Law Academy, as well as to have a Future Educators Academy. In addition, Woodham also sported a Health Science Program. Jim Barrineau
James Archibald Barrineau, Jr. (born June 25, 1955 in Fort Gordon, Georgia) is an American high jumper. While competing for the University of Georgia he won the Southeastern Conference titles in 1976 and 1977. He was a four-time All American and competed in the Universiade, World University Games. He finished second in the 1976 NCAA Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships to Dwight Stones then of Long Beach State University. Barrineau vs Stones would maintain a rivalry for some time. While Stones made several world records early on, Barrineau won the last matchup and left with the Masters World Record. Ronald Tobias Stallworth (born February 25, 1966) is a former professional American football defensive end who played for two seasons with the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He is a former world record holder in the 100-meter sprint with 9.93 seconds in 1983 and was twice world champion over 200 metres, in 1983 and 1987.
