Wong Po-yan
Wong Po-yan (, 5 May 1923 – 21 July 2019) was a Hong Kong industrialist and politician. He was the first chairman of Airport Authority Hong Kong from 1995 to 1999. Biography Wong Po-yan was born in and brought up in Hwei-An, Fujien, China and studied Chemistry at the National University of Amoy before he moved to Hong Kong. He became a successful industrialist with his plastic material company United Oversea Enterprises, Ltd. that he founded in 1958. In 1962, he was elected to the general committee of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA). As the representative of the CMA, he was appointed as the member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. He was appointed to the Legislative Council by Governor Murray MacLehose in 1979 and served until 1988. Murray MacLehose
Crawford Murray MacLehose, Baron MacLehose of Beoch, (; 16 October 1917 – 27 May 2000), was a British politician, diplomat and the 25th Governor of Hong Kong, from 1971 to 1982. He was the longest-serving governor of the colony, with four successive terms in office. Early life and career Murray MacLehose was born in Glasgow, Scotland in October 1917 as the second child of Hamish Alexander MacLehose and Margaret Bruce Black. He attended Rugby School in 1931 and Balliol College, Oxford. During World War II, while under the cover of being the British vice-consul, MacLehose trained Chinese guerrillas to operate behind Japanese lines to carry out sabotage. Hong Kong Order Of Precedence
The Hong Kong order of precedence is a nominal and symbolic hierarchy of important positions within the Government of Hong Kong. Administered by the government's Protocol Division, the hierarchy does not determine the order of succession for the office of Chief Executive, which is instead specified by the Basic Law of Hong Kong. As a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong theoretically maintains autonomy on all affairs other than defence and foreign relations. Reflecting that status, the order of precedence does not include state and party leaders of the Central People's Government. Ng Hong-mun
Ng Hong-mun GBM (, born 9 April 1926) is a Chinese politician who served as a member of the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th National People's Congress representing Guangdong, from 1975 to 1998. Ng then served as a member of the 9th and 10th National People's Congress representing Hong Kong, from 1998 to 2008. He is the longest serving member of the National People's Congress from Hong Kong, serving as member for over 32 years. In addition, Ng is also appointed as a Hong Kong affair advisor in 1992 and as a member of the Preliminary Working Committee in 1993. Chan Wing-kee, (; born January 1947) is a Hong Kong businessman and politician. He is the current member of the standing committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He had also been Hong Kong deputy of the National People's Congress and chairman of the Asia Television Limited. Early life and education Chan was born in Hong Kong in 1947 with his family root in Dongguan, Guangdong. His father, Chan Sui Wai, was a famous draper in Guangdong and Hong Kong and his uncle, Chan Sui Kau, was the founder of Yangtzekiang Garment Ltd.
