Wonder Woman (soundtrack)
''Wonder Woman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack to the film of the same name. The music is composed and arranged by Rupert Gregson-Williams. It was released on June 2, 2017, by WaterTower Music. Rupert Gregson-Williams was hired to compose the film's music in November 2016. He is joined by Evan Jolly, Tom Howe, Paul Mounsey, and Andrew Kawczynski who provide additional music. The soundtrack was released on the same day as the film on CD, digital, and vinyl. The score also heavily samples "Is She with You?" theme from the film '' Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'', which was written by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. Australian singer Sia sang a song for the film, entitled " To Be Hunan", featuring English musician Labrinth. Rupert Gregson-Williams
Rupert Gregson-Williams (born 12 October 1966) is a British composer, conductor, and record producer, best known for his film, video game, and television scores. His filmography includes ''Hotel Rwanda'', for which he was awarded the European Film composer award, ''Hacksaw Ridge'', ''Wonder Woman'', ''Aquaman'', ''Over the Hedge'', ''Bee Movie'', '' Abominable'', ''Back to the Outback'', ''Made of Honor'', ''The Holiday'', '' The Legend of Tarzan'', and numerous films by Happy Madison Productions, many of which star Adam Sandler. He composed music for the video game '' Battlefield 2: Modern Combat''. His notable works in television include ''Veep'', ''Catch-22'' and ''The Crown''. Clifford Grey (5 January 1887 – 25 September 1941) was an English songwriter, librettist, actor and screenwriter. His birth name was Percival Davis, and he was also known as Clifford Gray. Grey contributed prolifically to West End and Broadway shows, as librettist and lyricist for composers including Ivor Novello, Jerome Kern, Howard Talbot, Ivan Caryll and George Gershwin. Among his best-remembered songs are two from early in his career, in 1916: " If You Were the Only Girl (In the World)" and "Another Little Drink Wouldn't Do Us Any Harm". His later hits include "Got a Date with an Angel" and "Spread a Little Happiness". For 35 years after 1979 it was widely believed that Grey secretly competed as an American bobsleigher, under the name Clifford "Tippy" Gray, in two Winter Olympics, in 1928 and 1932, winning gold medals, but it was finally shown that the sportsman was a different person. Recorded Music NZ (formerly the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ)) is a non-profit trade association of record producers, distributors and recording artists who sell recorded music in New Zealand. The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia.
