Wonder Mountain's Guardian
Wonder Mountain's Guardian (also known as ''Guardian'' or ''WMG''; during Halloween Haunt known as ''Zombies 4D'') is a 4D, interactive dark ride roller coaster at the Canada's Wonderland amusement park located in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. Park management first proposed a dark ride located inside Wonder Mountain around 2004. Technology and budget limitations at the time delayed the project's planning and design stages until 2011. The steel track was manufactured by Art Engineering; it is approximately long and has a maximum height of about . The ride also features one of the largest drop tracks in the world reaching a height of . Triotech designed the ride's interactive 3D animations, which are accompanied by other special effects such as wind, adding the fourth dimension. During the park's Halloween Haunt event in October, the animations are replaced with zombie-themed effects. ''Polar X-plorer'' is a steel roller coaster at Legoland Billund in Billund, Denmark. It opened on 29 April 2012 as Zierer's first coaster with a freefall drop track section. History On 11 October 2011, Legoland Billund announced that the park would open "Polar Land", a new area for the park. It features live penguins and a new restaurant. Ride experience After cresting the chain lift hill, riders go through a few twists and turns before entering an indoor section, where a scene of LEGO minifigures chipping away at an ice wall with picks can be seen. Suddenly, the floor beneath the minifigures gives way and the train vertically free-falls before exiting the indoor portion and going through more twists and turns before going back to the station. Stoney Creek is a community in the city of Hamilton in the Canadian province of Ontario. Vortex (Canada's Wonderland)
Vortex is a suspended roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario. It officially opened during the 1991 season. As with other suspended roller coasters, Vortex's trains swing under the track. On Vortex, riders are taken up through the top of the mountain and dropped at high speeds. At some points in the ride, the trains swing just above a river running through the middle of the park, giving riders the illusion that the train will touch the water.
