Women's Volleyball Thailand League
The Women's Volleyball Thailand League ( th, วอลเลย์บอลหญิงไทยแลนด์ลีก) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in Thailand. Contested by eight clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Volleyball Pro Challenge League. Seasons run from October to March, with teams playing 14 games each. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played on weekdays. It is organized by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The league champion qualifies for the Asian Club Championship. The league is recognized by the TVA, the FIVB, and the AVC. The league maintains strong ties with international volleyball governing bodies, adhering to the rules and regulations set by the FIVB and the AVC. Asian Volleyball Confederation
The Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor, beach, and grass volleyball in Asia and Oceania. It has 65 member associations, mostly located in the Asia-Pacific region, but excludes four transcontinental countries with territory in both Asia and Europe – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Turkey – along with Armenia, Cyprus, and Israel, which are members of the CEV instead. Chonburi Province
Chonburi (, , ) is a province of Thailand (''changwat'') located in eastern Thailand. Its capital is also named Chonburi. Neighbouring provinces are (clockwise from north) Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi, and Rayong, while the Bay of Bangkok is to the west. Pattaya, a major tourism destination in Thailand, is located in Chonburi, along with Laem Chabang, the country's primary seaport. Supreme Volleyball Club ( th, สโมสรวอลเลย์บอลสุพรีม ชลบุรี) is a Thai professional women's volleyball club based in ฺBangkok and have managed by Supreme Volleyball Club Co.,Ltd. which was a subsidiary of Supreme Distribution (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The club was founded in 2009 as Supreme Nakhon Si Thammarat before reformed in to Supreme Chonburi in 2013. Supreme Volleyball Club won their first Thailand League title in 2016–17, the AVC Club Volleyball Championship title in 2017, and the Super League in 2017.
