Women's Victorian Open
The Women's Victorian Open is an annual golf tournament held in Australia. It was founded in 1988 and played annually through 1992. After a 20-year hiatus it returned in 2012 as a tournament on the WPGA Tour of Australasia. This was the first time the men's Victorian Open and women's Victorian Open were held concurrently - making it the only professional golf tournament in the world where men and women played the same courses, at the same time, for equal prize money. Barwon Heads, Victoria
Barwon Heads (previously known as Point Flinders) is a coastal township on the Bellarine Peninsula, near Geelong, Victoria, Australia. It is situated on the west bank of the mouth of the Barwon River below Lake Connewarre, while it is bounded to the west by farmland, golf courses and the ephemeral saline wetland Murtnaghurt Lagoon. The 2020 LPGA Tour was the 71st edition of the LPGA Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The season began at the Four Season Golf Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida on January 16 and ended on December 20 at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Jennifer Noel Wyatt (born December 10, 1965) is a Canadian professional golfer who formerly toured on the LPGA Tour. Wendy Doolan
Wendy Doolan (born 16 December 1968) is a former Australian professional golfer who played mainly on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. Doolan was born in Sydney, Australia. She started playing golf at the age of 14. In 1991 she was runner-up at the British Ladies Amateur and she turned professional later that year. In the early years of her career, Doolan played in Asia and Europe and on the second tier Futures Tour in the United States. She tied for 21st at the 1995 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament and has played on the LPGA Tour from 1996 to 2012. Joanna Klatten (born 2 March 1985) is a French professional golfer who mainly played on the LPGA Tour. She won four tournaments on the ALPG Tour and climbed into the top-100 of the Women's World Golf Rankings in 2014. Stacey Keating (born 21 June 1986) is an Australian golfer who won the 2012 Open de France Dames and 2012 Open De España Femenino. Originally from Werneth, near Colac, Victoria, she and competed at the 2013 U.S. Women's Open, where she missed the cut. Marianne Skarpnord (born 11 February 1986) is a Norwegian professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career As a junior, Skarpnord was considered one of the biggest talents in Norwegian golf.
