Wolves (Idiot Pilot Album)
''Wolves'' is the second full-length release album by Washington duo Idiot Pilot. It was produced by Ross Robinson (At the Drive-In, Glassjaw) and Mark Hoppus (singer and bassist of +44 and Blink 182). The third track, "Retina and the Sky" was also featured on the soundtrack of Michael Bay's film ''Transformers''. The album had a delayed release, first digitally on August 20, 2007 and physically October 2, 2007. Wolves features guest performers Travis Barker on drums in "Elephant" and Chris Pennie on drums in the rest of the tracks. Cover art is by Frank Maddocks Design. On October 2, 2007 the only way to purchase a copy of ''Wolves'' was either through the band's official website or digitally on iTunes. The disc was available at stores starting February 12, 2008. Avenged Sevenfold (abbreviated as A7X) is an American heavy metal band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist M. Shadows, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Zacky Vengeance, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Synyster Gates, bassist and backing vocalist Johnny Christ, and drummer Brooks Wackerman. Avenged Sevenfold are known for their diverse rock sound and dramatic imagery in album covers and merchandise. Taste Of Chaos
Taste of Chaos (or "TOC") was a live music tour that was started in the winter of 2005 by Kevin Lyman, the creator of the successful Warped Tour along with his friend and business partner, John Reese. The Taste Of Chaos tour catered to fans of the post-hardcore, emo, pop punk and metalcore genres, while offering the same low ticket price and festival-style format as the Warped Tour. In 2007, each of the seven bands playing the entire tour was a Warped Tour veteran: five had played the 2006 Warped Tour and two (The Used and Saosin) had played TOC previously. Taste of Chaos has been called the "Winter Warped Tour" since dates run from October (internationally) through April (in North America) of the next year. Clickpop Records is an independent record label in Bellingham, Washington that releases music predominantly from the Pacific Northwest. Bands who have achieved this goal to some degree include Idiot Pilot (who signed with Reprise Records shortly after releasing the first album) and The Trucks who have gained a nationwide audience and have been featured on the cable TV program ''The L Word''. Founded by Paul Turpin and Dave Richards, the label has also put out albums by Kristin Allen-Zito (a member of The Trucks), Jenni Potts, Black Eyes & Neckties, Darin Schaffer, Scatterbox, Prosser, and Delay. From 2006 through 2007, the label had a co-release deal with SpinArt Records. This resulted in widespread promotion and distribution through Rykodisc, particularly regarding early albums by The Trucks and Prosser that were released during that time. Chris Pennie
Chris Pennie (born May 31, 1977) is an American musician who is the former drummer for the progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria and former drummer and co-founder of mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan. Background Pennie began playing drums at the age of 13, and at age 16 decided to pursue music seriously. He grew up in Randolph, New Jersey and graduated from Randolph High School, and spent two years at Berklee College of Music where he received a diploma in Music Synthesis, which focuses on electronic music composition and manipulation.
