Wolfgang Müller (artist)
Wolfgang Müller (born 24 October 1957) is an artist, musician and writer, based in Berlin and Reykjavík, . Müller is the founder of the multi-media performance art group Die Tödliche Doris ('The Deadly Doris'). Müller published the book Geniale Dilletanten in 1982, naming a musical genre encompassing Die Tödliche Doris, Einstürzende Neubauten, Malaria!, Frieder Butzmann and many others. Müller's interest in Iceland and its culture has been documented in several art projects since 1988. He has participated in arts projects in both Germany and Iceland, addressing the Icelandic culture of elves, natural and supernatural phenomena. In 1998 he transferred the music of his first record with two sign language interpreters into signs and gestures and published it as a DVD, "Gehörlose Musik/Deaf Music" in 2006. Wolfsburg (; Eastphalian: ''Wulfsborg'') is the fifth largest city in the German state of Lower Saxony, located on the river Aller. It lies about east of Hanover and west of Berlin. Wolfsburg is famous as the location of Volkswagen AG's headquarters and the world's biggest car plant. Justus Köhncke
Justus Köhncke (born 1966 in Gießen) is a German techno producer and pop musician from Cologne. Köhncke was a member of the house trio Whirlpool Productions, along with Hans Nieswandt and Eric D. Clark. Together, they had a number one hit in Italy in 1997 with their house track " From Disco to Disco". Since 1999, he has released tracks on the Cologne label Kompakt. In his music, he combines minimal techno with disco and Krautrock elements. Musical collaborations In 2004, Köhncke produced the single "Durch die Nacht" for Andreas Dorau. He also worked with Dirk von Lowtzow of Tocotronic, as well as for Phantom/Ghost. In the last few years, he has also worked on soundtracks with Irmin Schmidt, a member of the band Can. Suhrkamp Verlag is a German publishing house, established in 1950 and generally acknowledged as one of the leading European publishers of fine literature. Its roots go back to the "arianized" part of the S. Fischer Verlag. In January 2010 the headquarters of the company moved from Frankfurt to Berlin. Annette Humpe
Annette Humpe (born 28 October 1950) is a German singer, songwriter, and record producer. Her band Ideal was one of the most important and seminal representatives of the Neue Deutsche Welle. In 2004, she returned as a singer with the project Ich + Ich after a longer break. Early life Humpe spent her childhood in Herdecke and Bad Pyrmont, where she graduated from high school in 1971. Following six semesters of studying composition and piano in Cologne, she moved to Berlin in 1974, where she started performing in various bands. Her younger sister Inga Humpe is a musician as well and they have worked on various joint projects. Career Humpe achieved first commercial successes in 1979 with the band Neonbabies, which was founded by her and her sister Inga. They disbanded in 1983. Already in 1980, Humpe founded Ideal along with Ernst Ulrich Deuker and Frank Jürgen Krüger (called "EffJott").
