Wolf is a Swedish heavy metal band from Örebro. Formed in 1995, the band has since released eight studio albums and toured with Saxon, Evile, Tankard and more recently, Trivium. Örebro ( , ) is the sixth-largest city in Sweden, the seat of Örebro Municipality, and capital of the Örebro County. It is situated by the Närke Plain, near the lake Hjälmaren, a few kilometers inland along the small river Svartån, and has a population of approximately 126,000 in the city proper. Trivium is an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. The band comprises vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Alex Bent. ''Feeding the Machine'' is the eighth studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Wolf, released on 13 March 2020 via Century Media Records. It is the first album featuring band's new members, Johan Koleberg on drums and Pontus Egberg on bass guitar. The album is being produced by Wolf's Simon Johansson at SolnaSound Production and mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström of Studio Fredman. Background In an interview in December 2018, Niklas Stålvind revealed that the band is working on a new album and they want to get back to the roots of the old school Wolf. He stated that the album will have ten or twelve songs but he was not sure about the release date. ''Devil Seed'' is the seventh studio album by Swedish heavy metal band Wolf, which was released on 25 August 2014 via Century Media Records. Background In March 2013, Metal Shock Finland posted a photo of guitarist and vocalist Niklas Stålvind, which shows him playing guitar and claimed that he is busy with writing for their upcoming album in the Viper Studio. Later on May 8, 2014, the band tweeted a picture of drummer Richard Holmgren recording “smoking drums” and announced that they are in the process of recording bonus tracks. Tankard is a German thrash metal band from Frankfurt, founded in 1982. Alongside Kreator, Destruction and Sodom, Tankard is often considered one of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States.
