Wolf (Exo Song)
"Wolf" ( ko, 늑대와 미녀, rr= Neukdaewa Minyeo, lit=Wolf and the Beauty; ) is a song by South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo, released on May 30, 2013, as the lead single of their first studio album '' XOXO''. It was released in both Korean and Chinese versions by their label SM Entertainment, and was their first song recorded by all twelve members. Background "Wolf" was composed by Will Simms, Nermin Harambašić from Dsign Music and S.M. Entertainment resident songwriter Kenzie. Kenzie also provided the lyrics for the Korean version of the song while Zhou Weijie penned the lyrics for the Mandarin Chinese version, "狼与美女". Yoo Young-jin provides background vocals. The song is produced by Will Simms and Kenzie, and is described as a Dubstep inspired Hip-hop song that tells a tragic love story between a werewolf and a beauty. Exo ( ko, 엑소; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay Zhang, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen (singer), Chen, Park Chanyeol, Chanyeol, D.O. (entertainer), D.O., Kai (entertainer, born 1994), Kai and Oh Se-hun, Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Mandarin and Japanese. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010.
