Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari
Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari (born Ermanno Wolf) (January 12, 1876 – January 21, 1948) was an Italian composer and teacher. He is best known for his comic operas such as '' Il segreto di Susanna'' (1909). A number of his works were based on plays by Carlo Goldoni, including ''Le donne curiose'' (1903), ''I quatro rusteghi'' (1906) and ''Il campiello'' (1936). Life Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari was born in Venice in 1876, the son of German painter August Wolf and Emilia Ferrari, from Venice. He added his mother's maiden-name, Ferrari, to his surname in 1895. Although he studied piano from an early age, music was not the primary passion of his young life. As a teenager Wolf-Ferrari wanted to be a painter like his father; he studied intensively in Venice and Rome and traveled abroad to study in Munich. It was there that he decided to concentrate instead on music, taking lessons from Josef Rheinberger. He enrolled at the Munich conservatory and began taking counterpoint and composition classes. ...

Manno Wolf-Ferrari
Manno Wolf-Ferrari (5 September 1911 – 17 April 1994) was an Italian conductor, nephew of composer Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. He studied in Venice and Siena, and quickly established himself as a leading conductor of the Italian opera repertory, which he performed widely in Italy but also abroad, notably in Monte-Carlo, London, Madrid, etc. In 1951 he recorded the premiere recording of Cimarosa's opera ''Il matrimonio segreto'' with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and a cast headed by Alda Noni, Giulietta Simionato, Cesare Valletti and Sesto Bruscantini Sesto Bruscantini (10 December 1919 – 4 May 2003) was an Italian baritone, one of the greatest buffo singers of the post-war era, especially renowned in Mozart and Rossini. Teodoro Wolf Ferrari
Teodoro Wolf-Ferrari (29 June 1878 – 27 January 1945) was an Italian painter, mainly depicting landscapes. Biography He was born in Venice, the son of Augustus Wolf, a copyist of the works in the Art Gallery of Monaco. His older brother was the Italian composer Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. Teodoro studied until 1895 at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, where he studied with Guglielmo Ciardi and Pietro Fragiacomo.
