''Wojenne dziewczyny'' (English: Wartime Girls) is a Polish World War II sensationalist television drama series, broadcast on TVP1. It premiered on 5 March 2017 and has four seasons. TVP1
TVP1 (TVP Jeden, ''Program I Telewizji Polskiej'', ''"Jedynka"'') is the main public television channel of TVP (Telewizja Polska S.A.), Poland's national television broadcaster. It was the first Polish channel to be broadcast and remains one of the most popular today. TVP1 was launched 25 October 1952. History TVP1 was launched as of 25 October 1952 as TV Polska. The tests resumed in the immediate post-war years and materialized in October 1952 with the launch of the first experimental broadcasts of Polish television. In January 1953, it broadcasts at the rate of half an hour per week, then an hour and a half in March. The schedule of programmes continued to grow and the broadcast time increased to 22 hours per week in 1957, 26 hours in 1958. Regional studios were added to those in Szczecin and Warsaw in 1956. Marta Mazurek (born 26 June 1990) is a Polish film actress. She made her debut role performance in the Gabriela Zapolska's play ''Ich czworo'' (''Four of them'') in 2012 directed for Radio Kraków by Jerzy Stuhr. Career Mazurek was born on 26 June 1990 in Poznań. In 2013, while still being an acting student at the Krakow National Theatre School, she won the Grand Prix "for outstanding stage personality" at the Theatre Schools Festival in Lodz for her role in "The man who mistook his wife for a hat" (Mężczyzna, który pomylił swoją żonę z kapeluszem), directed by Krzysztof Globisz. Danuta Stenka (born 10 October 1961 in Sierakowice, Poland) is a Polish actress. She is one of the leading Polish film and theatre actresses. Life and career From 1991, she spent a decade working at Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw, then at TR Warszawa. She earned critical acclaim for her distinguished roles in Krzysztof Warlikowski's performances (Electra, The Taming of the Shrew, Krum, Angels in America and (A)pollonia).
