Woh Main Nahin
''Woh Main Nahin'' () is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Mohan Segal. It is an adaptation of the 1962 Marathi language play ''To Mee Navhech'', written by Pralhad K. Atre and being acted by Prabhakar Panashikar. Navin Nischol and Rekha in lead role with supporting Shaukat Kaifi, Iftekhar, Rakesh Pandey and Padmini Kapila. Plot The story revolves around Vijay (Navin Nischol) being convicted for forgery/fraud/murder related crimes in a court of Law, where, his trial proceeding is headed by a judge and being charged of all the crimes by the public prosecutor (Iftekhar). Vijay refutes all charges levied onto him and pleads Not-Guilty for all the crimes he has been charged with. He eventually ends up standing up his own case, as defence lawyer seemed to be too timid to save him. Navin Nischol
Navin Nischol (18 March 1946 – 19 March 2011) was an Indian actor. He made his debut with the Hindi film ''Sawan Bhadon'' in 1970. In 1996 he worked in Pyar Zindagi Hai along with Rita Bhaduri and Raj Mohammed. The film was shot in Hyderabad. Early life Navin Nischol studied in Bangalore Military School, Bangalore, erstwhile King George Royal India Military College, Bangalore. He was the first gold medalist from the Film and Television Institute of India to make it big. He starred in several superhit movies such as ''Victoria No. 203'' (1972), ''Dhund (1973 film), Dhund'' (1973) and ''Aashiq Banaya Aapne'' (2005). Shaukat Azmi
Shaukat Kaifi (21 October 1926 – 22 November 2019), also credited as Shaukat Azmi, was an Indian theater and film actress. Her husband was the Urdu poet and film lyricist, Kaifi Azmi. The couple were leading lights of the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) and the Progressive Writers Association (IWA), which were the cultural platforms of the Communist Party of India. Kishore Kumar (born as Abhas Kumar Ganguly (); 4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest, most influential and dynamic singers in the history of Indian music. He was one of the most popular singers in the Indian subcontinent, notable for his yodeling and ability to sing songs in different voices. He used to sing in different genres but some of his rare compositions, considered classics, were lost in time. Gajanan Jagirdar
Gajanan Jagirdar (2 April 1907 – 13 August 1988) was a veteran Indian film director, screenwriter and actor. He worked in Hindi Cinema, also called Bollywood, as well as Marathi cinema. The period of 1942 to 1947, saw his rise as a film director with Prabhat Films. He was appointed as the first director (then principal) of thFilm and Television Institute of India (FTII)in 1960 which was known as ''Film Institute of India'' then. Jagirdar served as the director of the FTII for just over a year, from 1961 to 1962. He was associated with the Prabhat Film Company three decades before his FTII role, when the campus was the base of the Prabhat.
