Without A Paddle
''Without a Paddle'' is a 2004 American adventure comedy film directed by Steven Brill, written by Jay Leggett and Mitch Rouse, and based on a story by Harris Goldberg, Tom Nursall, and Fred Wolf. The film stars Seth Green, Matthew Lillard, Dax Shepard, Ethan Suplee, Abraham Benrubi, Rachel Blanchard, Christina Moore, Bonnie Somerville, Ray Baker and Burt Reynolds. It tells the story of three reunited childhood friends going on a trip up a remote river in order to search for the loot of long-lost airplane hijacker D. B. Cooper. A direct-to-video sequel, entitled '' Without a Paddle: Nature's Calling'', was released in January 2009. Steven Brill (director)
Steven Brill (born May 27, 1962) is an American actor, film producer, director, and screenwriter. He directed and co-wrote ''Little Nicky'' and directed ''Mr. Deeds'', ''Without a Paddle'', ''Heavyweights'', and ''Drillbit Taylor''. He has had cameo roles in all three ''Mighty Ducks'' movies, and appeared in ''The Wedding Singer'', ''Mr. Deeds'', and ''Knocked Up'', although his role in the latter has been miscredited to Judd Apatow. Parasailing, also known as parascending, paraskiing or parakiting, is a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that resembles a parachute, known as a parasail wing.
