Witchouse
''Witchouse'' is a 1999 supernatural horror film directed by David DeCoteau, credited as Jack Reed, and stars Matt Raftery, Monica Serene Garnich, Ariauna Albright, Brooke Mueller, Ashley McKinney, Dave Oren Ward, and Dane Northcutt. It was released by Full Moon Features. The film has received mainly negative reviews. The independent film was followed by two sequels, ''Witchouse 2: Blood Coven'' and ''Witchouse 3: Demon Fire''. The film is dedicated to Dave Oren Ward who was murdered in Los Angeles on April 7, 1999. Synopsis On May Day 1998, in Dunwich, Massachusetts, Elizabeth gathers together a group of specially selected friends for a rather odd party. It turns out that she is the descendant of a malevolent witch named Lilith who was burned at the stake precisely three hundred years ago. Career He has worked professionally in the movie business since he was 18. He got his start through Roger Corman, who hired him in 1980 as a production assistant at New World Pictures. In 1986, DeCoteau directed and produced his first feature film for Charles Band. He is the founder of Rapid Heart Pictures, where his films include ''A Talking Cat!?!'' and the ''1313'' series. He has said of his working methods, "I always wanted to make what I could sell. So I just promised myself that I would not be set in my ways. Brooke Jaye Mueller (born August 19, 1977) is an American actress. Early life Mueller was born and raised in upstate New York. Her father, Allen Mueller, worked as a Miami and Key West police officer, a high school teacher, and a real-estate broker. He died in a motorcycle accident when Brooke was twelve. Jared DePasquale (born June 1, 1971) is an American film, television, and audio drama composer. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Education and early career Born in Manhasset, New York, DePasquale earned a bachelor of music in guitar performance with an emphasis in composition from Duquesne University.
