''Wisenheimer'' is the third studio album by the Australian band Custard. It was released November 6th 1995 and peaked at number 55 in September 1996. The album contains the song "Apartment" which reached #7 in the third Hottest 100. Recording Frontman Dave McCormack later said, "To have the opportunity to go to San Francisco and record with Eric Drew Feldman in Hyde St Studios – where Creedence had recorded and Green Day were recording – that was massive. We were there for months. It was very premium, professional, proper band stuff. We landed on the 4th of July, 1995 and went straight to the supermarket. You could buy booze at the supermarket. It was a huge culture shock. The cheese was orange and the butter was white." Custard (band)
Custard are an Australian indie rock band formed in 1989 in Brisbane, Queensland. The band is colloquially known as "Custaro" () due to frequent misreadings of its name. History 1989–1993: Formation and early EPs The band was originally known as Custard Gun and featured David McCormack on vocals and guitar, Paul Medew on bass (McCormack and Medew both ex-Who's Gerald?), James Straker (later in The Melniks) on guitar and Shane Brunn (who later formed Hugbubble and Vanlustbader) on drums. After a few shows and line up changes (namely Straker being replaced by Matthew Strong) Custard Gun morphed into Custard in early 1990. Custard's first release was the four track vinyl EP ''Rockfish Anna'', which was issued in November 1990. A fire breathing Elvis impersonator was part of the EP's launch festivities. You know when you hear too much loud music you get that ringing in your ears. I just thought it was the most obvious song I'd ever written. And the interior's red because, I imagine your head is red on the inside, and the 'Ears! Sing to me' bit is like because your ears are just going 'EEEEEEEEEEEEE'. ''Wahooti Fandango'' is the second album by Australian band Custard. It was released in 1994 and peaked at number 89 on the ARIA Charts in June 1995. Title McCormack said, "Wahooti is just a slang term for marijuana… Fandango… we had a poster once that said "Custard meet Fandango", and I thought, well 'Fandango' sounds good. 'Wahooti', I don't know… Matthew uitaristwill like it if there's a drug reference there you've got Matthew onside. So I think it just means 'Marijuana Party', I guess." rooArt was an Australian independent record label, founded in 1988 by INXS's then-manager, Chris Murphy. The label's roster included several well-known Australian bands and artists such as Crow, Ratcat, Screaming Jets, You Am I, Wendy Matthews, The Hummingbirds, The Trilobites and Amanda Brown. Creedence Clearwater Revival
Creedence Clearwater Revival, also referred to as Creedence and CCR, was an American rock band formed in El Cerrito, California. The band initially consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty; his brother, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty; bassist Stu Cook; and drummer Doug Clifford. These members had played together since 1959, first as the Blue Velvets and later as the Golliwogs, before settling on Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967. CCR's musical style encompassed roots rock, swamp rock, blues rock, Southern rock, and country rock, among others. Green Day
Green Day is an American rock band formed in the East Bay of California in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, together with bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt.
