Wisconsin–Whitewater Warhawks
The University of Wisconsin–Whitewater Warhawks (casually known as the UW–Whitewater Warhawks or Warhawks) are the athletic teams of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. Twenty Warhawk athletic teams compete in NCAA NCAA Division III, Division III. The Warhawks currently rank third out of all NCAA Division III schools in the NACDA Director's Cup standings. On May 27, 2014, UW–Whitewater made history as the first NCAA institution in any division to win national championships in men's football, basketball, and baseball in a single academic year. Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is a college athletic conference that competes in the NCAA's Division III. In women's gymnastics, it competes alongside Division I and II members, as the NCAA sponsors a single championship event open to members of all NCAA divisions. As the name implies, member teams are located in the state of Wisconsin, although there are three associate members from Minnesota and one from Illinois. All full members are part of the University of Wisconsin System. The University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point Pointers (casually known as the UW-Stevens Point Pointers) are the athletic teams of the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. The Pointers athletic teams compete in NCAA Division III. Football The UW-Stevens Point football team holds the annual Spud Bowl game sponsored by local potato farms and brewery companies as the first home game of the season. The Pointers also hold the annual Pink Game, which benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Central Wisconsin, and the Circle of Friends Foundation, which provides opportunities to kids with cancer.
