The 63rd Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district covers most of the south half of Racine County, Wisconsin, Racine County west of Wisconsin Highway 31, including the city of Burlington, Wisconsin, Burlington and the villages of Rochester, Wisconsin, Rochester, Union Grove, Wisconsin, Union Grove, and Sturtevant, Wisconsin, Sturtevant, as well as most of the village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, Mount Pleasant and part of the city of Racine, Wisconsin, Racine. The district is represented by Republican Party (United States), Republican Robin Vos, the Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, Speaker of the Assembly, since 2005. American Party (1969)
The American Party of the United States is a conservative political party in the United States. The party adheres to its Permanent Principles, which were established in 1969. The party began as part of the American Independent Party, supporters of George Wallace's 1968 campaign for the presidency, and was the formal name of the party on the ballot in Tennessee. In 1969, the AIP became the American Party at a convention attended by representatives from 37 states. Following the 1972 election, the American Party formally split from the American Independent Party. Both parties have nominated candidates for the presidency and other offices, although the AIP has in more recent years considered itself a California affiliate of the Constitution Party. Madison is the county seat of Dane County and the capital city of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Bonnie Ladwig
Bonnie L. Ladwig (December 11, 1939) is a Republican politician and legislator. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ladwig graduated from Shorewood High School. Ladwig served in the Wisconsin State Assembly The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Marathon County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 138,013. Marathon County's seat is Wausau. It was founded in 1850, created from a portion of Portage County. At that time the county stretched to the northern border with the upper Michigan peninsula. Caledonia is a village in Racine County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 25,361 at the 2020 census. The residential community of Franksville is located within the village. Marcel Dandeneau
Marcel Dandeneau (June 28, 1931February 9, 2017) was an American educator and Democratic Party politician. He served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing northern Racine County, and served as chief clerk of the Assembly during the 1979–1980 term. He also held local offices in Caledonia, Wisconsin. Biography Born in Racine, Wisconsin, he was the eldest of six children born to Albert and Justine (née Breland) Dandeneau, both French Canadian immigrants. Dandeneau graduated from St. Catherine's High School in Racine, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1955. Dandeneau then received his bachelor's and master's degree from Dominican College of Racine and worked as a full-time teacher from 1960 through 1989, first at Sturtevant Grade School, then at Mitchell Junior High, where he taught English, History, and Science. Henry Rohner
Henry Rohner (September 7, 1919 – August 2, 2006) was a public servant from Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. He served one term in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Rohner was born in Caledonia, Wisconsin to Paul and Katherine (née Schraepfer) Rohner. He graduated from William Horlick High School in 1937. He worked as a tool-and-die maker for Belle City Malleable and the J.I. Case Company. On October 4, 1941, at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, he married Marjorie E. Acklam. During World War II, he enlisted and served in the United States Navy. After returning from the war, Rohner founded the Henry Rohner Implement Company and was a Ford Tractor and Equipment Dealer for over 23 years. He was also a member of the volunteer fire and rescue squad in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, and rose to the rank of Assistant Chief.
