Origin

The band started out as a recording project by flatmates Brown and McNeill. Both had an interest in artists such as Elvis Costello and Queen (band), Queen. With the success of Brown's main project, OneRepublic, the band went on hiatus until 2008. In 2009, Konopka, James and Morris joined Brown and McNeill to complete the band.

Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass).
