Winnetou And The Crossbreed
''Winnetou and the Crossbreed'' (German: ''Winnetou und das Halbblut Apanatschi'') is a 1966 West German Western film directed by Harald Philipp and starring Lex Barker, Pierre Brice, Götz George and Uschi Glas. It is part of the series of Karl May adaptations produced by Rialto Film during the decade. It was co-produced with Italy and Yugoslavia. The budget was an estimated three and a half million Deutschmarks. This was the first in the series to not be based on a May novel, only on his characters. It was not a box office success, unlike previous releases which had been major hits. However, it did launch the career of Uschi Glas as an important actress.Bergfelder p. 189 It was shot at the Spandau Studios in Berlin and on location in Yugoslavia. Location shooting is the shooting of a film or television production in a real-world setting rather than a sound stage or backlot. The location may be interior or exterior. Miha Baloh
Miha Baloh (21 May 1928 – 6 December 2022) was a Slovene actor. He started participating in local theatre productions after the Second World War and eventually enrolled in the AGRFT in Ljubljana, from where he graduated in 1952. In 1953, he began collaboration with the Permanent Slovene Theatre in Trieste. There he worked with the director Jože Babič who also offered him his first major film role. From 1967, he also worked on international productions on projects such as the Austrian TV comedy series ''Leni'', German films on Winnetou and a French-German series on Omer Pasha. He continued to work in the theatre throughout his career. Baloh died on 6 December 2022, at the age of 94. Ralf Wolter (26 November 1926 – 14 October 2022) was a German stage and screen actor. Wolter appeared in nearly 220 films and television series in his over 60 years as a character actor. Life and career Wolter began his long career on the Berlin stage and in cabaret during the late 1940s. He made his first film appearance in ''Die Frauen des Herrn S.'' and quickly achieved prominence as an actor for comedic supporting roles.
