Willy Olsen (born 28 February 1950) is a retired Norwegian speed skater from Tynset who competed internationally in the 1970s. His strength was in the long distances, and he won the 5000 metres event at the national championship in 1972. Tynset is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Østerdalen. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Tynset. Other villages in Tynset include Fådalen, Fåset, Telneset, Tylldalen, and Yset. The municipality is the 43rd largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Tynset Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Tynset, Hedmark. It has sections for association football, team handball, cycling, judo, orienteering, speed skating, skiing, swimming, and taekwondo. It was established on 15 September 1900 as ''Tønset IF'', and the name was modernized to ''Tynset IF'' in 1923 at the same time as the club adopted association football.
