''The Willies'' is the 15th album by Bill Frisell to be released on the Elektra Nonesuch label. It was released in 2002 and features performances by Frisell, Danny Barnes on banjo, pump organ & harmonica and bassist Keith Lowe. Reception The Allmusic review by Zac Johnson awarded the album 3.5 stars, stating, "Anyone familiar with the guitarist's style will understand his choices in recording these timeworn love songs and murder ballads, and traditional folk aficionados will be intrigued to hear their old favorites in this new environment. ''The Willies'' is a 1990 American comedy horror anthology film, written and directed by Brian Peck. The movie was filmed in both California and Connecticut. The film features cameos by several recognizable genre and character actors. James Karen and Clu Gulager appear. Sean Astin plays one of the film's storytellers. Kathleen Freeman plays an elementary school teacher. Michael Bower plays a disturbed teenager. Kirk Cameron, Tracey Gold, and Jeremy Miller make appearances, as does actress Chelsea Noble. Willies Mchunu (born 11 May 1948) was the 7th Premier of KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa. He was previously a Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for the Department of Transport, Community Safety, and Liaison in the province. Willys (pronounced , "Willis" ) was a brand name used by Willys–Overland Motors, an American automobile company, founded by John North Willys.
