Willie Palms
William L. Palms (born October 6, 1972), known as Willie Palms, is an American professional boxer. Amateur career Palms had a stellar amateur career, and won the U.S. National Championships as Super Heavyweight champion in 1997. Professional career Palms turned pro in 1997 and won his first nine bouts, before losing a decision to Jean-Francois Bergeron in 2001. Palms evolved from amateur prospect to heavyweight journeyman, later losing a decision to Elieser Castillo in 2002 and Duncan Dokiwari in 2006. On July 31, 2009 he was defeated by Timur Ibragimov by technical knockout in the 5th round and which he was down twice in the 3rd and once in the 5th before the referee stopped the fight. Timur Ibragimov
Timur Ibragimov (Тимур Ибрагимов; born January 15, 1975) is an Uzbekistani former professional boxer who competed from 2000 to 2012. As an amateur, he competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Early years Ibragimov is from Uzbekistan. He is frequently being presented by various media as the cousin of former WBO Heavyweight Champion Sultan Ibragimov, although Sultan is a native of Dagestan. In fact they are not relatives, but they are close friends, they are also friends with Uzbek boxer Ruslan Chagaev. Stateline is a census-designated place (CDP) on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe in Douglas County, Nevada, United States. It lies next to the California state line and City of South Lake Tahoe. Lawrence Marvin Clay-Bey (born December 14, 1965) is an American former professional boxer who fought at heavyweight. As an amateur he was a two-time winner (1995 and 1996) of the United States National Championships as well as a bronze medalist at the 1995 World Championships, all in the super heavyweight division.
