''Williamsburg'' is a 2006 American independent film written, directed, and edited by Brad Saville, as a black and white feature length narrative comedy film, comedy/drama film, drama that provides a satirical look at the lives of seven failing artists in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Background ''Williamsburg'' follows the style set by the French film ''La Ronde (1950 film), La Ronde'', individually following one character before changing focus when that one interacts with another as the new focus. It was shot on a low budget over a 10-day period, and filmmaker Brad Saville taught himself film editing to complete the project. Russ Russo (born December 2, 1975) is an American film actor. His work includes Catch Hell, ''Williamsburg'', and the thriller ''An Act of War''. Early life Russo was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts. However, he was quickly uprooted and spent the majority of his childhood moving around between California, New York, Arizona and New Jersey with his family. Though moving was difficult, Russo saw each new city as an opportunity to reinvent himself. Having lived in such a vast array of locations, he quickly realized that different personalities were needed for different schools, and so he relied on his ability to act in order to survive in every new social situation.
