William Rush (actor)
William Rush (born 6 July 1994) is a British actor, best known for his role in the BBC One school-based drama series '' Waterloo Road'' as Josh Stevenson. Early life Rush attended Bamford Academy and trained at Manchester School of Acting. Career Rush started his career in Channel 4's '' Shameless'', as a lad at an ice cream van, before being given a small part in BBC's ''Grange Hill'', playing the role of Ali Duncan. He also appeared in ''The Street'' and '' Drop Dead Gorgeous''. From 2009 to 2012, he played Josh Stevenson in '' Waterloo Road'' and made a guest appearance the following year. In 2016, Rush auditioned for series 13 of ''The X Factor'' and made it through to the six-chair challenge, the third of four elimination stages. Bury ( ) is a market town on the River Irwell in Greater Manchester, England. Metropolitan Borough of Bury is administered from the town, which had an estimated population of 78,723 in 2015. The town is within the historic county boundaries of Lancashire. It emerged in the Industrial Revolution as a mill town manufacturing textiles. The town is known for the open-air Bury Market and black pudding, the traditional local dish. Sir Robert Peel was born in the town. George Young (rock Musician)
George Redburn Young (6 November 1946 – 22 October 2017) was an Australian musician, songwriter and record producer. He was a founding member of the bands the Easybeats and Flash and the Pan, and was one-half of the songwriting and production duo Vanda & Young with his long-time musical collaborator Harry Vanda. Born in Scotland, Young moved to Australia with his family as a teenager, and became a naturalised citizen. He was a member of the 1960s Australian rock band the Easybeats, and co-wrote with bandmate Harry Vanda the international hits "Friday on My Mind" and " Love Is in the Air", the latter recorded by John Paul Young (who is unrelated). Vanda and Young were also the producers of early work by the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, formed by his younger brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Waterloo Road (series 8)
The eighth series of the British television drama series, '' Waterloo Road'', began broadcasting on 23 August 2012, and ended on 4 July 2013 on BBC One. It consisted of thirty episodes. The series follows the lives of the faculty and pupils of the eponymous school. While a comprehensive school in all other series, Waterloo Road is a privately funded independent school for the majority of the eighth series.
