Will Ray
Will Ray (born 1950 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American session guitarist and current member of the Hellecasters. Ray has also released a number of solo albums. He is considered an influential player of the Fender Telecaster line of guitars. Fender made two Will Ray signature models in the late 1990s: the Jazz-a-Caster and the Mojo-Tele. G&L is now offering a Will Ray signature model guitar and a less expensive version within their lower cost brand, Tribute by G&L. In July 2005, Ray moved to North Carolina where he built a new state of the art recording studio for production projects. William Ray (medicine)
William Ray (c. 1884 – 6 or 7 June 1953) was an English-born academic in Adelaide, South Australia. History Ray was born in Manchester, England, the youngest son of William Ray (c. 1844 – 10 June 1932), and emigrated with his parents to South Australia, settling in North Adelaide. Young William was educated at Queen's School, North Adelaide and St Peter's College, then studied medicine at the University of Adelaide, where he had a brilliant career, culminating in a Rhodes Scholarship, which took him in 1907 to Magdalen College, Oxford, followed by pathology work at the Lister laboratory, for which research work ("concerning passive immunity in relation to infectious diseases") he was awarded the Philip Walker Studentship in pathology of £200 per year for three years. Oregon Territorial Legislature
Oregon's Territorial Legislature was a bicameral legislative body created by the United States Congress in 1848 as the legislative branch of the government of the Oregon Territory. The upper chamber Council and lower chamber House of Representatives first met in July 1849; they served as the region's legislative body until Oregon became a state in February 1859, when they were replaced by the bicameral Oregon State Legislature. Ten annual sessions were held, with most starting in December and ending in February. During the sessions the capital of the territory was moved from Oregon City to Salem, then briefly to Corvallis, and back to Salem. Legislation included the creation of new counties, the renaming of old counties, and the authorization to hold the Oregon Constitutional Convention, among other acts. William Hallett Ray
William Hallett Ray (May 25, 1825 – May 7, 1909) was a Canadian politician, farmer, and merchant. Born in Clementsport, Annapolis Valley, where he worked as a farmer and a merchant, Ray was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly for Annapolis County in an 1864 by-election held after James William Johnston was named to the bench. He was first elected to represent the Annapolis electoral district in the House of Commons of Canada on September 20, 1867, and remained in office until his defeat in September 1878. Ray was re-elected for one more term in the June 1882 elections. He was a member of the Anti-Confederation Party until January 1869, when he left it for the Liberal Party.
