William M. Conley
William Martin Conley (born May 25, 1956) is an American lawyer and a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. Early life and education Born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Conley attended St. Joseph's elementary school and Rice Lake High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1978 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1982. He was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as articles editor of the Wisconsin Law Review. He worked as a law clerk for Judge Thomas E. The 2020 Wisconsin Democratic presidential primary took place on April 7, 2020, in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, along with the Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice election, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2020 presidential election. The Wisconsin primary was an open primary, with the state awarding 97 delegates to the 2020 Democratic National Convention, of which 84 were pledged delegates allocated on the basis of the results of the primary. Executive Order 13780, titled Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States, was an executive order signed by United States President Donald Trump on March 6, 2017.
