William Howard Taft Charter High School is a public school located on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue in the Woodland Hills district of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California, within the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school gained affiliated charter status beginning with the 2013–2014 school year. History Named after former U.S. president William Howard Taft, the school first opened in 1960. Bryce Dejean-Jones
Bryce Alexander Dejean-Jones (August 21, 1992 – May 28, 2016) was an American professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Iowa State University after stints with USC and UNLV, and played professionally for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Dejean-Jones was fatally shot after breaking into an apartment, having wrongly believed it to be that of his girlfriend. The UConn Huskies men's basketball program is the intercollegiate men's basketball team of the University of Connecticut, in Storrs, Connecticut. They currently play in the Big East Conference (Big East) and are coached by Dan Hurley. DeAndre Martise Daniels (born April 15, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Townsville Heat of the NBL1 North. He played college basketball for the UConn Huskies, where he won a national championship and made the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team in 2014. The Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing the University of Virginia. The school competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Virginia has won the NCAA Championship, two National Invitation Tournaments, and three ACC tournament titles. Kihei Issaiah Clark (born January 25, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Virginia Cavaliers of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Early life Clark was born in Tarzana, Los Angeles as the oldest son of Malik and Sharon Clark. His father is Chinese and African American and his mother is Filipino. Filter (band)
Filter is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio, by singer Richard Patrick and guitarist and programmer Brian Liesegang. The band was formed when Patrick desired to start his own band after leaving Nine Inch Nails as their touring guitarist. Their debut album '' Short Bus'' was released in 1995 and ended up going platinum, largely due to the success of the single " Hey Man Nice Shot". After the album, the band would go through the first of many lineup changes, leaving Patrick as the only consistent member across all releases. After Liesegang's departure in 1997, Patrick recorded a follow up album with the ''Short Bus'' touring band members, who became full-time members thereafter. Michael Ross Borzello (born August 14, 1970) is an American professional baseball coach who has worked for the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). In June 1991, Borzello signed with the St. Louis Cardinals. After five years as a minor league catcher in the Cardinals organization, he became a bullpen catcher and batting practice pitcher for the New York Yankees.
