William Hall (basketball)
William J. Hall (born 1 June 1991) is a retired British professional basketball player, who formerly played for Glasgow Rocks of the British Basketball League. Junior career As a youth player, he played for England's national under-18 basketball team at the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship Division B, Where he average 6.0 Points and 2.0 Assists in 2 games Professional career Europe Hall began his career with Leeds Force , He finished the 2014-15 season averaging 14.2 points , 7.3 Rebounds and 2.5 Assists. The small forward (SF), also known as the three or swingman, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Small forwards are typically shorter, quicker, and leaner than power forwards and centers but taller, larger, and stronger than either of the guard positions. In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads directly to a score by field goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the basket. The Caledonia Gladiators are a professional basketball club in Glasgow, Scotland. The Gladiators compete in the British Basketball League, the top tier of British basketball. Since 2012, the team have played their home games at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow. The team’s traditional rivals are the Newcastle Eagles. Points in basketball are used to keep track of the score in a game. Points can be accumulated by making field goals (two or three points) or free throws (one point).
