William Fedun
Wasyl "William" Fedun (August 5, 1879 – November 14, 1949) was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada from 1921 to 1926. He was born in Eastern Galicia. William Fedun was elected to the northern Alberta, Victoria provincial electoral district in the 1921 Alberta general election for the United Farmers of Alberta. He defeated long time Liberal MLA Francis Walker who was one of the last original members in the provincial legislature. He served one full term in office as a backbencher in the United Farmers government. Chervonohrad Raion ( uk, Червоноградський район) is a raion (district) of Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. It was created in July 2020 as part of the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine. The center of the raion is the city of Chervonohrad. Andrew, Alberta
Andrew is a village in central Alberta, Canada that is northeast of Edmonton. Andrew is home of the world's largest duck roadside attraction, part of the Giants of the Prairies. Its post office was established March 2, 1902. The community has the name of Andrew Whitford, an early settler. 1921 Alberta General Election
The 1921 Alberta general election was held on July 18, 1921, to elect members to the 5th Alberta Legislative Assembly. It was one of only five times that Alberta has changed governments. The Liberal Party, which had governed the province since its creation in 1905, led by Charles Stewart at the time of the election, was defeated by a very-new United Farmers of Alberta political party. The UFA was an agricultural lobby organization that was contesting its first general election. It had previously elected one MLA in a by-election. Under the Block Voting system, each voter in Edmonton and Calgary could vote for up to five candidates, while Medicine Hat voters could vote for up to two candidates. Eastern Galicia
Eastern Galicia ( uk, Східна Галичина, Skhidna Galychyna, pl, Galicja Wschodnia, german: Ostgalizien) is a geographical region in Western Ukraine (present day oblasts of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil), having also essential historic importance in Poland.
