William Bradbury (footballer)
William Henry Bradbury (1884–1966) was an English footballer who played at half-back for Burslem Port Vale, Stoke, Aberdare, Oldham Athletic, Scunthorpe United, Rochdale and Burton Town. Career Bradbury played for May Bank and Newcastle Swifts, before joining Burslem Port Vale in May 1903. He made his debut on Boxing Day 1903, in a 3–1 defeat by Bristol City at the Athletic Ground. He played three further Second Division games in the rest of the 1903–04 season, and was used as an emergency player in the 1904–05, 1905–06, and 1906–07 campaigns. The club then went into financial meltdown and liquidation, at which point he was released. He joined Fegg Hayes and then moved on to Stoke, playing 28 Birmingham & District League / Southern League games for the "Potters" in the 1910–11 season. William Batchelder Bradbury
William Batchelder Bradbury (October 6, 1816 – January 7, 1868) was a musician who composed the tune to " Jesus Loves Me" and many other popular hymns. Biography He was born on October 6, 1816, in York, Maine, where his father was the leader of a church choir. He had a brother, Edward G. Bradbury. He moved with his parents to Boston and met Lowell Mason, and by 1834 was known as an organist. In 1840, he began teaching in Brooklyn, New York. In 1847 he went to Germany, where he studied harmony, composition, and vocal and instrumental music with the best masters. In 1854, he started the Bradbury Piano Company, with his brother, Edward G. Bradbury in New York City. William Bradbury is best known as a composer and publisher of a series of musical collections for choirs and schools. He was the author and compiler of fifty-nine books starting in 1841. In 1862, Bradbury found the poem " Jesus Loves Me". Bradbury wrote the music and added the chorus: "Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jes ...

Bill Bradbury
Bill Bradbury (born May 29, 1949) is an American politician who served as a member of the Oregon Legislative Assembly and as the 23rd Oregon secretary of state from 1999 to 2009. Bradbury was an unsuccessful candidate for the 2010 Oregon gubernatorial election. In 2010, he was appointed to the Northwest Power and Conservation Council by Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski. Early life and education Bradbury was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1949, the third child of William and Lorraine Bradbury. He grew up in Chicago where his father was an associate professor of sociology at the University of Chicago. In September 1958, Bill's mother and father were killed in an automobile accident in Montana. Bill and his sister Kathy were injured, but survived, and moved to Swarthmore, Pennsylvania to be raised by their aunt and uncle.
