William B. Brown
William Burbridge Brown (10 September 1912, in Chillicothe, Ohio – 24 December 1985), was a lawyer who served a variety of positions in the Territory of Hawaii from 1943 to 1955, before returning to serve on the Ohio District Courts of Appeals and Ohio Supreme Court from 1960 to 1984. William Burbridge Brown was born to Mabel R. Downs Brown and Dr. Henry Renick Brown. He attended the Chillicothe public schools, received a bachelor's degree from Williams College in 1934, and a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1937. He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1938, and practiced that year in Toledo, before returning to Chillicothe in 1939 at the firm ''Simpson and Brown''. Brown left Chillicothe in 1942 to work in Washington, D.C. as a lawyer for the Office of Price Administration. He transferred to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1943, and worked for the Office of Price Administration there until 1946. James Celebrezze
James Patrick Celebrezze (February 6, 1938 – February 10, 2021) was an American politician and jurist of the Ohio Democratic party, who served as a judge of the Cuyahoga County, Ohio, common pleas court (domestic relations division). His daughter, Leslie Celebrezze, was elected to fill his seat after his retirement. Celebrezze served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1963 to 1973 and was a Democrat. Celebrezze was elected a judge of the Ohio Supreme Court in 1982, defeating Republican Blanche Krupansky. He was defeated in his bid for re-election in 1984 by J. Craig Wright. His campaign was negatively affected by charges made against the chief justice, Celebrezze's brother Frank Celebrezze. Blanche Krupansky
Blanche Ethel Krupansky (December 10, 1925 – April 14, 2008) was a Cleveland, Ohio, United States judge who became the second woman to sit on the Ohio Supreme Court when she was appointed in 1981. Biography Blanche Krupansky was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 10, 1925, to Frank and Ann Krupansky. She attended public schools and graduated from Flora Stone Mather College in Cleveland in 1947, and the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1948. She began private practice in 1949, and also served as assistant Attorney General during the term of Ohio Attorney General C. William O'Neill, and was assistant chief counsel to the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. Krupansky served on the Cleveland Municipal Court from 1961 to 1969.
