William Allegrezza
William (Bill) Allegrezza (born 1974 in Jackson, Mississippi) is a poet, fiction writer, translator, and critic. He editMoria Booksand teaches at Indiana University Northwest. He has published eighteen poetry books; eleven chapbooks, including ''Sonoluminescence'' (co-written with Simone Muench) and ''Filament Sense'' (Ypolita Press); and many poetry reviews, articles, and poems. His poetry has been translated into Dutch language, Dutch, Spanish language, Spanish, Portuguese language, Portuguese, and Italian language, Italian. He founded and curateseries A a reading series in Chicago, from 2006 to 2010. He also co-founded Cracked Slab Books and edited it for five years. Matt Briggs (born 1970) is an American novelist and short story writer. Biography Matt Briggs was born in Seattle, Washington, which he still calls home. He grew up in the Snoqualmie Valley raised by working-class, counter-culture parents who cultivated and sold cannabis. Briggs has written two books set in rural Washington chronicling this life. Critic Ann Powers wrote of Briggs first book in the ''New York Times Book Review'', "Briggs has captured the America that neither progressives nor family-value advocates want to think about, where bohemianism has degenerated into dangerous dropping out." Peter Gizzi (born 1959 in Alma, Michigan) is an American poet, essayist, editor and teacher. He attended New York University, Brown University and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Life Gizzi was born in Alma, Michigan to an Italian American family. He spent most of his childhood and adolescence in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, the poet delayed going to college and took a job in a factory winding resin tubes and in a residential treatment center working with emotionally disturbed adolescents.
