William Adama
William "Bill" Adama (callsign "Husker") is a fictional character in the re-imagined ''Battlestar Galactica'' television series produced and aired by the SyFy cable network. He is one of the main characters in the series, and is portrayed by Edward James Olmos. The character is a reimagining of Commander Adama from the 1978 ''Battlestar Galactica'' series, originally played by Lorne Greene. Character biography Childhood In the ''Caprica'' spinoff series, Markus Towfigh plays Bill Adama as a young boy. Lorne Hyman Greene (born Lyon Himan Green; 12 February 1915 – 11 September 1987) was a Canadian actor, musician, singer and radio personality. His notable television roles include Ben Cartwright on the Western ''Bonanza'' and Commander Adama in the original science-fiction television series ''Battlestar Galactica'' and ''Galactica 1980''. "Hero" is the eighth episode of the third season from the science fiction television series ''Battlestar Galactica''. This episode aired on November 17, 2006. Plot The fleet encounters two Cylon Raiders in pursuit of a third. Starbuck and Kat take out the two pursuing Raiders and engage the third when a panicked male voice comes over the comm identifying himself as Lt. Daniel "Bulldog" Novacek and pleads to call off the attack. Admiral Adama allows the Raider to land on the '' Galactica'' and a disheveled man emerges from the cockpit. Billy Keikeya
Billy Keikeya is a fictional character in the miniseries and television remake of '' Battlestar Galactica''. He is portrayed by Paul Campbell. Billy appeared until late in the second season, at which point he was killed by terrorists. Paul Campbell has said that his character was killed because he had been unwilling to commit to a five-year contract. In the miniseries, Keikeya was assigned to Secretary of Education Laura Roslin as an aide during the decommissioning of the '' Battlestar Galactica''.
