Wilhelm Josef Dick (10 September 1897 –1980) was a Czechoslovak Czechoslovak may refer to: *A demonym or adjective pertaining to Czechoslovakia (1918–93) **First Czechoslovak Republic (1918–38) **Second Czechoslovak Republic (1938–39) **Third Czechoslovak Republic (1948–60) **Fourth Czechoslovak Repub ... ski jumper who competed in the 1920s. He won two ski jumping medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in 1925 and a silver in 1927. At the 1926 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships he competed for Germany under the name Willy Dick. He was a Sudeten Germans, Sudeten German. After the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia after World War II he lived in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in 1952 he moved to Wermelskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia, where he died in 1980. Vejprty
Vejprty (; german: Weipert) is a town in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,700 inhabitants. It lies along the border with Germany. Administrative parts Villages of České Hamry and Výsada are administrative parts of Vejprty. Geography Vejprty is located about west of Chomutov and southeast of Karlovy Vary. It lies in the Ore Mountains. The highest point is below the top of the mountain Vlčí kopec, at above sea level. The territory stretches along the border with Germany, from which it is separated by the Polana stream. It borders the German municipalities of Bärenstein and Oberwiesenthal. History The first written mention of Vejprty is from 1506. In 1550, silver ore was discovered in the area.
