Will Muschamp
William Lawrence Muschamp (born August 3, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. He is the co- defensive coordinator and safeties coach at the University of Georgia. He served as head football coach at the University of Florida from 2011 to 2014 and the University of South Carolina from 2016 to 2020. In his second season as defensive coordinator at Auburn, Muschamp was a finalist for the 2007 Broyles Award for the most outstanding assistant coach in college football. Prior to his accepting the job at Florida, the University of Texas announced that Muschamp would eventually succeed Mack Brown as head coach of the Longhorns and designated him the "head coach in waiting." Oak Hall School is a private school in Gainesville, Florida, that was founded in 1970 as a segregation academy. History Oak Hall was founded in 1962, the same year that Gainesville finished desegregation of their high schools. Although technically a private school, the school was largely built with funds provided by industrial revenue bonds raised by Alachua County. Mack Brown
William Mack Brown (born August 27, 1951) is an American college football coach. He is currently in his second stint as the head football coach for the University of North Carolina, where he first coached from 1988 until departing in 1997, when he left Chapel Hill to become head coach for the University of Texas. In 2018, Brown was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Two days after Carolina fired Larry Fedora in November 2018, Brown was announced to return as the Tar Heels' head coach after a five-year hiatus from coaching, which he spent as an ESPN analyst. Broyles Award
The Broyles Award is an annual award given to honor the best assistant coach in college football. First awarded in 1996, it was named after former University of Arkansas men's athletic director Frank Broyles. The award is presented in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Downtown Rotary Club. To date 18 of the 23 winners have gone on to become head football coaches.
