William Snelgrove Finn (born November 1, 1958) is an American animator, voice actor, storyboard artist, and director. Career His work in animation includes characters from Disney, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, and Don Bluth films such as '' The Secret of NIMH'', '' Oliver & Company'', '' The Little Mermaid'', ''The Rescuers Down Under'', and ''Pocahontas''. Finn animated such characters as Cogsworth in ''Beauty and the Beast'', Iago in ''Aladdin'', and Laverne in ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame''. Finn wrote and directed '' Home on the Range'' and voiced the character of Hollywood Fish in '' Chicken Little''. Iago is a fictional supporting character who appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 31st animated feature film '' Aladdin'' (1992), the direct-to-video sequels ''The Return of Jafar'' (1994), '' Aladdin and the King of Thieves'' (1996), and the television series. An anthropomorphic red-plumed talking red lory, he was voiced by American comedian Gilbert Gottfried in all animated appearances up to his death in 2022. The animated television series ''The Real Ghostbusters'' premiered on ABC on September 13, 1986. It continued airing weekly until the series conclusion on October 5, 1991. After the first season aired, the series entered syndication, during which new episodes aired each weekday. 65 episodes aired in syndication simultaneously with the official second season in 1987. ''Space Ace'' is a LaserDisc video game produced by Bluth Group, Cinematronics and Advanced Microcomputer Systems (later renamed RDI Video Systems). It was unveiled in October 1983, just four months after the '' Dragon's Lair'' game, followed by a limited release in December 1983 and then a wide release in Spring 1984. Like its predecessor, it featured film-quality animation played back from a LaserDisc. The gameplay is similar to ''Dragon's Lair'', requiring the player to move the joystick or press the fire button at key moments in the animated sequences to govern the hero's actions. There is also the occasional option to either temporarily have the character transform into his adult form or remain as a boy with different styles of challenge. ''Dragon's Lair'' is an interactive film LaserDisc video game developed by Advanced Microcomputer Systems and published by Cinematronics in 1983, as the first game in the ''Dragon's Lair'' series. In the game, the protagonist Dirk the Daring is a knight attempting to rescue Princess Daphne from the evil dragon Singe who has locked the princess in the foul wizard Mordroc's castle. It featured animation by ex-Disney animator Don Bluth. Most other games of the era represented the character as a sprite, which consisted of a series of pixels displayed in succession. Due to hardware limitations of the era, artists were greatly restricted in the detail they could achieve using that technique; the resolution, framerate and number of frames were severely constrained.
