Will Coghlan
William Coghlan born (6 March 1941) is a former tennis player from Australia. He was active from 1958 to 1979 and won 22 career singles titles. Biography Coghlan won the junior title at the 1960 Australian Championships. A Melbourne real estate agent by profession, he made regular appearances at his home grand slam tournament, twice making the third round. He was a semi-final in the men's doubles at the 1967 Australian Championships, partnering David Power of the United States. He is a younger brother of tennis player Lorraine Coghlan. Lorraine Coghlan Robinson (née Coghlan; born 23 September 1937) is a former tennis player from the state of Victoria in Australia. In 1956, she won the Australian Championships Girls' Singles title. Coghlan teamed with Bob Howe to win the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon in 1958. Coghlan and Howe were also the runners-up in mixed doubles at the 1958 French Championships. David Power (tennis)
David Power (September 12, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois – June 15, 2022) was an American tennis player. He was a two-time All-American tennis player at the Indiana University Bloomington in 1965, 1966, and 1967. Career Power won the singles title at the Cincinnati Masters in 1966, defeating Tom Gorman in the semifinals and William Harris in the final. He also teamed with John Pickens to win the doubles title in Cincinnati in 1965. Power was ranked as high as No. 25 in singles in the United States, and in 1967 he paired with Will Coghlan to reach the semifinals in doubles at the Australian National Championships. After playing the circuit, Power became a USPTA Master Professional in 1984 and was the head tennis coach at the University of Cincinnati for nine years (1988–1996).
