Wilkes Power Plant
Frank M. Wilkes Power Plant is an 879 megawatt ( MW), natural gas power plant located northwest of Jefferson, Texas in Marion County, Texas. The plant began operations in 1964. Marion County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 9,725. Its county seat is Jefferson.
