Aud Wilken
Aud Saskia Wilken (born 1965 in East Berlin) is a Danish-German singer, best known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995. Early life and career Wilken was born to a Danish father and German mother, and lived in East Germany until 1974, when the family moved to Denmark. Her musical debut came in 1988, on the album ''Midnight at the Grooveyard'' by post-punk band The Overlords. She then appeared on The Poets' self-titled album in 1990. In the same year of 1990 she took part in the recording of the song "I Love You Love Me Love" as featuring artist for Danish musician Master Fatman. This song was written by Aud along with Morten Lindberg. Eurovision Song Contest In 1995, Aud participated at Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1995, Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. The final held on 25 March 1995 and consisted of 11 participants. Dorothy Wilken
Dorothy H. Wilken (born 1936) is an American politician and former clerk of courts. Wilken was a major proponent for the annexation of the community of University Park into the larger city of Boca Raton, Florida, during the early 1970s. She later served as the first female Mayor of Boca Raton and a Palm Beach County commissioner. Wilken was born in Annville Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. In 1965, she moved to Boca Raton, Florida, to take a job with Florida Atlantic University. She graduated from Emma Willard School, Troy NY and George Washington University Columbian College in Washington, DC and earned her MPA at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton FL. Friedrich Wilken (23 May 1777 in Ratzeburg – 24 December 1840 in Berlin) was a German historian ( orientalist), professor and librarian. He was born 23 May 1777, at Ratzeburg, in the duchy of Lauenburg. He studied at Gottingen, at first theology, but afterwards, classic and Oriental philology and history. In 1798 he received the prize for an essay, ''De Bellorum Cruciatorum ex Abulfeda Historia;'' in 1805 he was appointed professor of history at Heidelberg, and in 1807 director of the university library. Patrick Wilken (born 17 March 1966) is an Australian consciousness researcher. He was active in the promotion of consciousness studies and one of the founders of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness. Biography He was born in Melbourne, Australia. Stewart Wilken
Stewart Wilken (born 11 November 1966), known as The Boetie Boer, is a convicted serial killer from South Africa. Wilken is regarded as a highly unusual serial killer, having killed individuals from two distinct victim types: female prostitutes and young boys (he also killed his adolescent daughter, Wuane). Wilken killed from 1990 until he was arrested in January 1997. He was active in Port Elizabeth, on the east coast of South Africa. Wilken was charged with 10 counts of murder and 5 counts of sodomy on 3 February 1997. He was convicted of 7 counts of murder and 2 counts of sodomy on 20 February 1998.
