Wildwood Hi-Rollers
The Atlantic City Hi-Rollers, also known as the Wildwood Hi-Rollers, were an American basketball team based in Atlantic City, New Jersey and later Wildwood, New Jersey. The team were members of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1980 to 1982. The team was previously known as the Utica Olympics. After playing their first season in Atlantic City, team president Bill Waldman announced the Hi-Rollers would play part of their 1981–82 season at the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey. The team's first game in Wildwood was so well attended compared to the games in Atlantic City that the team announced they would relocate to Wildwood permanently for the remainder of the season. Utica Olympics
The Utica Olympics, known also as Mohawk Valley Thunderbirds, were an American professional basketball team based in Utica, New York that were members of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1978 to 1980. The team was previously known as the Baltimore Metros. The team moved to Utica during the 1978–79 season and were renamed the Mohawk Valley Thunderbirds. The franchise disbanded following the season, but another Utica CBA franchise was created. They were known as the Utica Olympics and finished last place in the CBA following the 1979–1980 season, with a 15–31 record. Wildwoods Convention Center
The Wildwoods Convention Center is a convention center and indoor arena in Wildwood, New Jersey. Built in 2001 to replace an older Convention Hall, the center has exhibition space of . The building includes the Oceanfront Arena, an indoor arena that can seat up to 7,000 spectators. It is owned by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and managed by The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA). Davis (born January 27, 1957) is a retired American basketball player who played for two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs. Davis, a 6'7 forward from Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland, Davis played for coach Hugh Durham at Florida State University from 1974 to 1978. Davis scored 1,514 points in his career, averaging 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. His best year was 1977–78, where he averaged 19.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game and was named Metro Conference co-player of the year with Louisville's Rick Wilson.
