Wildstar (DC Comics)
Revolutionary Elite Brigade to Eradicate L.E.G.I.O.N. Supremacy (R.E.B.E.L.S.) is the name of two separate fictional revolutionary paramilitary groups in the DC Comics Universe. Both incarnations have been L.E.G.I.O.N. adversaries and are led by Vril Dox. Publication history ''R.E.B.E.L.S. ’94'', ''R.E.B.E.L.S. ’95'', and ''R.E.B.E.L.S. ’96'' is a comic-book series of contiguous numbering published by DC Comics from October 1994 to March 1996 and created by Tom "Tennessee" Peyer. The three "series" consisted of issues #0–2, 3–14 and #15–17. ''R.E.B.E.L.S.'' is a comic-book series published by DC Comics which debuted in February 2009. ''L.E.G.I.O.N.'' is a science fiction comic book created by Keith Giffen, Bill Mantlo and Todd McFarlane and published by DC Comics. The principal subject of the comic book is a team of fictional extraterrestrial superheroes. The characters first appeared in '' Invasion!'' #1 (December 1988). The original series chronicled the formation and activity of an interplanetary police force whose mission was to act as a peace-keeping force in their galaxy. Publication history ''Invasion!'' Comics Bulletin was a daily website covering the American comic-book industry. History Silver Bullet Comicbooks The site was founded in January 2000 as Silver Bullet Comicbooks by its New Zealand-based publisher/editor Jason Brice. During this period, the site made efforts to support retired comics professionals. In a Silver Bullet column called ''Past Masters'', contributor Clifford Meth wrote about his efforts to support ailing comic book artist Dave Cockrum. As a result of his advocacy, Marvel Comics announced it would compensate Cockrum for his work in co-creating the X-Men. In 2005, Silver Bullet partnered with Aardwolf Publishing to publish a benefit book in support of ailing comics writer/artist William Messner-Loebs. Starfire (Princess Koriand'r) is a superheroine appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. She debuted in a preview story inserted within ''DC Comics Presents'' #26 (October 1980) and was created by Marv Wolfman and the late George Pérez. The name "Starfire" first appeared (for an unrelated character) in a DC Comic in the story "The Answer Man of Space," in ''Mystery in Space'' #73, February 1962, written by Gardner Fox.
