Wilder Calderón
Wilder Félix Calderón Castro (born 18 July 1947) is a Peruvian politician. He is a former Congressman, elected in the 2006 elections, representing the Ancash region for the 2006–2011 term. He lost his seat in the 2011 elections, when he ran for re-election, but he received a low number of votes and was not re-elected. In the 2014 regional elections, he ran for Regional President of Ancash, but he was not elected, as he received only 3.1% of the vote. Calderón belongs to the Peruvian Aprista Party and graduated from the Federico Villareal National University. Biography He was born in Sihuas, department of Áncash, on July 18, 1947. Son of Alejandro Calderón Asteis and Lucía Castro Ponce. He completed his primary studies in his hometown and secondary in the San Pedro de Chimbote Educational Center. Congress Of The Republic Of Peru
The Congress of the Republic of Peru ( es, Congreso de la República) is the unicameral body that assumes legislative power in Peru. Congress' composition is established by Chapter I of Title IV of the Constitution of Peru. Congress is composed of representatives who sit in congressional districts allocated to each region, as well as two special districts, Lima Province and Peruvian citizens living abroad, on a basis of population as measured by the Peruvian Census in multi-member districts. 2011 Peruvian General Election
General elections were held in Peru on 10 April 2011 to elect the President, the Vice Presidents, 130 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament. As no presidential candidate received a majority in the first round, a second round was held on 5 June to determine the successor of outgoing president Alan García. Former army officer Ollanta Humala narrowly defeated Keiko Fujimori, daughter of imprisoned former President Alberto Fujimori. Humala was sworn in as the 94th President of Peru on 28 July. Enrique Javier Cornejo Ramirez (born 2 June 1956) is a Peruvian politician who was the former Minister of Transportation and Communications that was under President Alan García from September 2010 to July 2011. Prior to that, he was the Minister of Housing and Construction. Biography Enrique Cornejo graduated from the University of Lima. He has taught at universities in Ecuador and Bolivia. 2006 Peruvian General Election
General elections were held in Peru in on 9 April 2006 to elect the President, two Vice-Presidents, 120 members of Congress and five members of the Andean Parliament for the 2006–2011 period. As the no presidential candidate received a majority of the vote, a second round was held on 4 June between the top two candidates, Ollanta Humala and Alan García. Federico Villarreal National University
Federico Villarreal National University ( es, Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, UNFV) is a public university located in Lima, Peru. It was named in honor of the Peruvian mathematician Federico Villarreal. History It first functioned as a branch of the Community University of the Center - Universidad Comunal del Centro (UCC) based in Huancayo. That same year, the Peruvian geographer, philosopher, historian and politician Javier Pulgar Vidal was commissioned to manage the university. The Lima branch of the UCC began its activities in a rented house, located at 262 Moquegua street.
